Valley of the leopard

South Luangwa National Park, is one of Africa’s prime wildlife destinations. With its stunning landscapes and abundant wildlife, this is an experience that will leave you with lifelong memories and spectacular photographs.

During the first half of the safari, we will explore the central Mfuwe area, home to an impressive diversity of species. Here, we will witness the incredible sight of herds of elephants, impalas, zebras, and giraffes grazing peacefully in the lush greenery of the park.

We will also have opportunities to spot elusive predators such as lions, leopards, and wild dogs as they hunt and roam through the savannah. The Mfuwe area is also renowned for its birdlife, boasting over 450 species including storks, ibises, and eagles.

For the second half of the safari, we will venture into the Nsefu sector, which is known for its remote and untouched wilderness. This area is home to large herds of buffalo and hippos, as well as puku, kudu, and waterbuck. Additionally, the Nsefu sector is an excellent location for spotting the elusive leopard.

No matter where we go in South Luangwa, the park is a paradise for photographers, providing a wealth of opportunities to capture amazing shots of Africa’s diverse range of wildlife and stunning landscapes.
