SRI LANKA
Wild Sri Lanka Awaits
Step into the lush wilds of Sri Lanka where elephants roam ancient forests, leopards stalk the shadows and bird calls echo through misty jungles. This safari is for those who crave something a little off the beaten path, a rich blend of wildlife, culture and coastlines waiting to be explored.
Sri Lanka is a wildlife photographer’s dream. This small island is bursting with biodiversity, from leopards lounging in golden grasslands to elephants wandering through misty forests. Its national parks are home to sloth bears, crocodiles, hundreds of bird species and some of the best leopard sightings in the world.
What makes it even more special is the variety of habitats packed into such a compact space. You can explore wetlands, jungle, coastlines and highlands all in one journey. It is wild, colourful, unpredictable and full of photographic magic.

This safari includes time in both Yala and Kumana National Parks, giving you a rare chance to explore two of Sri Lanka’s wildest corners. Yala is famous for its high density of leopards, elephants and dramatic rocky outcrops, while Kumana is a quieter gem, rich in birdlife, coastal lagoons and untouched forest.
Together, they offer an incredible mix of wildlife and landscapes, perfect for photographers who want variety, adventure and those unexpected moments that make a safari truly unforgettable.
One of the highlights of this safari is witnessing the incredible gathering of elephants in Minneriya, where large herds come together around the ancient reservoir. It is a powerful and moving sight for any wildlife lover.
We finish our journey in the wild and remote Wilpattu National Park, where natural lakes attract leopards, sloth bears and a variety of birdlife. It is the perfect way to end the adventure in a park that feels untouched and full of surprises.

Sri Lanka offers a rare blend of rich wildlife, stunning landscapes and vibrant culture all within one incredible safari. Whether you are chasing that perfect leopard shot, marvelling at elephant gatherings or soaking in untouched wilderness, this journey promises unforgettable moments and stories to treasure forever.

“Sri Lanka was incredible. It offered some of the best bird photography I have ever experienced. I was blown away by the size of the leopards. They were absolutely massive. The Sri Lankan people were warm, welcoming and truly passionate about their wildlife. Kumana National Park has become one of my favourite places I have visited. It felt raw, wild and completely alive.”
