The Galápagos Islands are unlike anywhere else on Earth. Wildlife here has evolved in isolation for millions of years, resulting in a remarkable diversity of species found nowhere else. With animals often showing little fear of people, the islands offer excellent opportunities to observe and photograph wildlife up close in their natural environment.

Travelling aboard our own privately chartered vessel allows us to explore the archipelago at a relaxed pace, visiting remote islands, enjoying uncrowded wildlife encounters and making the most of our time both on land and in the water.
The Galápagos Islands are made up of 13 major islands and numerous smaller islets, each with its own unique landscapes and wildlife communities. Travelling aboard our privately chartered vessel allows us to explore the archipelago at a relaxed pace, visiting remote islands, enjoying uncrowded wildlife encounters and making the most of our time both on land and in the water.
The Galápagos are home to an extraordinary diversity of wildlife, much of it found nowhere else on Earth. Whether snorkelling alongside sea turtles and playful sea lions, watching Darwin’s finches forage among volcanic rocks or photographing Marine Iguanas basking in the sun, there are endless opportunities to observe and photograph wildlife behaving naturally in its environment.
Our home for the expedition is the Cachalote Explorer, a comfortable expedition vessel accommodating just 16 guests. With spacious cabins, inviting communal areas and delicious meals prepared by the onboard chef, it provides a welcoming base from which to explore the archipelago.
Between excursions, guests can relax on deck, review photographs, watch seabirds glide overhead or simply enjoy the changing scenery as we travel between islands. Travelling with the same small group throughout the journey also creates a friendly and relaxed atmosphere on board.
