Your safari will start in Kibale National Park, where you’ll embark on an exciting and special Bobby-Jo Safaris chimp tracking expedition. You will be able to photograph these magnificent creatures as they swing from tree to tree, groom each other, and play. The experience is elemental and simply breathtaking.
Next stop, Bobby-Jo Safaris will transport you to Queen Elizabeth National Park, where you’ll go on a game drive in search of the park’s elusive wildlife. From majestic elephants to graceful antelopes, and maybe even a lion or two, there’s always something special to see. Bobby-Jo Safaris has arranged for a special boat ride on the Kazinga Channel, where you’ll be sure to capture some stunning shots of hippos, crocodiles, and a variety of waterbirds.
In Mabamba Swamp, you’ll encounter the rare and elusive Shoebill Stork. This prehistoric-looking bird is a favourite among photographers, and you’re sure to get some amazing shots.

“Totally unexpected – massive mountains, forests and lakes. Prehistoric animals like the Shoebill.Not what you would expect from Africa. My most beautiful memory other than leaving a totally unique experience with the wild gorillas, we came across the Ankole cattle. Bobby-Jo with perception and ability to connect with people had us mingling with these beautiful cattle and wandering amongst them. Just amazing to immerse yourself amongst this herd, listening to the soft clunking of their magnificent massive horns. These nomadic people offered us fresh milk and were so happy to share a glimpse into their life- so natural and spontaneous.
